| One example of how we find solutions would be M.C. Avino's contract for removing and replacing approximately 8,000 linear feet of overhead steam and condensate lines at the U.S. Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Parris Island, SC. M.C. Avino, Inc. noted that many of the supports for the overhead lines not included in our contract needed repairs to correct existing corrosion and minimize future maintenance. We managed to provide repairs to an additional 900 support structures, maintain the original budget, and finish the project without an extension of time.
The often-repeated statement by the Contracting Officer, Mr. Charles Daniels, is that “M.C. Avino, Inc. is the most proactive contractor I’ve had the pleasure of having on my team.”
His Construction Manager, Mr. Fritz Diehl, comments “M.C. Avino, Inc. is the best contractor to come down the pike in 25 years.”

An example of M.C. Avino's expertise was on a contract at the Army Arsenal in Radford, VA, to replace a portion of their acid waste system with a welded stainless steel system. Part of the job entailed replacing a large diameter underground pipe that was located in a very congested area of the plant. The task involved disrupting that area of the plant’s operation and a partial shut down. M.C. Avino, Inc. had doubts that the line needed to be replaced so we did a video inspection of the pipe interior at our own expense. The video showed that the line had a single joint that had opened and was leaking. We presented a Value Engineering Proposal to expose the pipe and place a concrete collar around the opened joint. Our approach saved approximately $235,000. Mr. Bill Wright, the QA Representative on the project said about M.C. Avino, Inc.“Cooperative, knowledgeable...AVINO’s detail oriented staff allowed the project to proceed with no downtime to the plant. The field Quality Control staff reacted remarkable to changes and recommendations from all participants and allowed the project to be completed.”

| A prime example of how M.C. Avino, Inc.uses our combined expertise to find solutions for our clients was the project to replace the Domestic Hot Water Tank at Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport, NY. The Hospital called M.C. Avino, Inc. to give them a proposal to replace a leaking 2,000 gallon hot water storage tank. Due to space complications, piping configurations and other restrictions, the price for the project went through the ceiling. We thought about the problem for a while, made some phone calls and a bunch of sketches. We finally came up with a proposal to install twin instantaneous hot water heaters for half the original price. The hospital received a new, modern, redundant system without disrupting their operations and saved money.
